Patient Impact

A few years ago, I had a patient who came to our office with a toothache. The patient had multiple problems and required full-mouth rehabilitation, including several extractions, multiple root canals, and full crowns on the upper and lower teeth. The patient was a special needs case and finances were a big concern. I organized a local oral surgeon and endodontist to give the patient a multi-specialty approach to rehabilitation at no cost to the patient. This treatment was done over the Christmas holidays as a means of giving something back to the community. This act certainly changed the patients life and allowed him to regain his confidence.
